Presidential Decree enters into force on the day of its publication.

Resumen

This National Water Plan (NAP), is a document that defines, in a technical, socially, economically and environmentally sustainable manner, integrated and articulated, guidelines and strategies related to water resources management, inventory of significant issues, definition of planning scenarios and the definition of short, medium and long-term measures and actions for the water cluster in Angola. It was developed taking into account fundamental axes of action and intervention, such as: Integrated Water Resources Planning, the establishment of a programme strengthening research and development related to the various aspects of water use, strengthening and modernization of the institutional, legal and regulatory framework related to water sector and the creation or support of public and private partnerships. Livestock farming plays an important role in the reconstruction of Angola and is a priority economic activity for food security, guaranteeing a significant part of the food security of the rural population (2.4.4).
