Resumen

The purpose of the present Act is to provide for the continuation of the Saskatchewan Power Corporation (Sask-Power), the principal electric utility in Saskatchewan. Sask-Power has the exclusive right and obligation to supply electricity in the Province. It is governed by a Board of Directors that is responsible to the Minister responsible for Saskatchewan Power Corporation. The text consists of 62 sections divided into 6 Parts as follows: Organization and powers (I); Acquisition of property by expropriation (II); Rights of way (III); Transmission lines and distribution systems (IV); Finance and accounting (V); General provisions (VI).
