Regulation 3 concerns the examination of imported 'restricted articles' as defined in regulation 2. All planting material imported shall be inspected in accordance with regulation 7. Regulation 8 concerns permits for the importation of vegetables and fruits. Regulation 9 concerns the importation of plant pests whereas regulation 10 provides for importation of beneficial organisms. Packaging material of imported articles shall be subject to rules et out in regulation 13. Phytosanitary certificates shall be issued for articles to be exported (reg. 15).
