Resumen

The Order regulates sanitary measures in major radiation accidents. It consists of 14 chapters: General provisions and scope of application (I); Definition of terms (II); Main sources of nuclear and radiation accidents, main ways and factors of radiation impact during accidents, phases of radiation accidents and timely action plan (III); Biological effects of radiation (IV); Organizing sanitary-hygiene measures and protective steps (V); Mitigation of radiation of persons involved in medical-sanitary measures against radiation accident (VI); Main sanitary-hygiene measures and types of protective steps (VII); Radiation-hygiene measures at medical facilities (VIII); Radiation and dosimeter control (IX); Organizing health and prophylactic measures (X); Organizing medical aid at specialized clinics and clinical effects of ionizing radiation (XI); Contemporary principles of radiation pathologies (XII); Organizing post-radiation rehabilitation of the public health (XIII); and Education of the public in sanitary-hygiene radiation safety (XIV).
