This Order enters into force on the date of its official publication.
Resumen

This Regulation establishes the requirements for the identification and registration of swine, the registration and issuance of identification documents, the registration of farms, and transportation of swine. It shall be mandatory for all legal entities and natural persons engaged in breeding and keeping of swine, performing trade, slaughter, disposal, providing artificial insemination services and organizing exhibitions of swine. Identification and registration of swine shall be performed for the following purposes: (a) control over the movement of swine within the country and during their export and import; (b) control over the sanitary state of production facilities and processing of swine products; (c) assistance in protecting the territory of Ukraine from the introduction and spread of pathogens and planning of veterinary and sanitary measures; and (d) obtaining reliable information on the swine population and their location for the organization of the system for tracking the origin of swine products. Identification and registration of breeding swine kept and raised by legal entities include: (a) registration of stockbreeding farm (enterprise); (b) formalization of an application for identification and registration of swine; (c) identification of swine by affixing tags with an individual identification number; (d) registration of identified swine; (e) registration of the identified animals in the Unified State Register of Livestock; (f) registration and issuance of the registration certificate of swine at the request of the owner; and (g) registration in the Unified State Register of Livestock of information on movement, slaughter, disposal, destruction, fall of animals, etc. Identification and registration of commodity (slaughter) swine kept and bred by legal entities include: (a) registration of stockbreeding farm (enterprise); (b) formalization of an application for identification and registration of swine; (c) identification of animals before they leave stockbreeding farm (enterprise) by affixing tags or drawing a tattoo with the registration number of stockbreeding farm (enterprise); (d) registration of identified swine; (e) registration in the registration in the Unified State Register of Livestock of information on movement, slaughter, disposal, destruction, fall of animals, etc. The identification and registration of commodity (slaughter) swine kept and raised by natural persons include: (a) application submitted to the Administrator of the Unified State Register of Livestock; (b) identification of swine by affixing tags with an individual identification number; (c) registration of the identified swine in the Unified State Register of Livestock; and (d) registration in the Unified State Register of Livestock of information on the movement, slaughter, disposal, destruction, fall of animals, etc. Identification of swine on stockbreeding farm (enterprise) of the legal entity shall be performed by the owner (keeper) autonomously or by the responsible person with the use of the materials received (tags and forms of registration documents) exclusively for the identification of swine owned thereby. Identification of swine in the household (farm) of a natural person and an individual entrepreneur shall be performed by the owner (keeper) autonomously or by the Administrator of the Unified State Register of Livestock. Identification document for registered pedigree swine shall be registration certificate for swine (Annex 7). A group identification number shall be assigned to a group of commodity (slaughter) swine within a single economic (business) entity of a legal entity and is unique for this farm within the national territory of Ukraine.
