Areas of public forest used to collect and box resin shall be deemed areas of compulsory resin boxing. Each area shall be classified as one of three categories according to resin output. Mature and overly mature pinaceous trees in areas of compulsory resin boxing shall have resin boxed before felling. Forest plantations in areas in which main use felling is not scheduled for the next 10 to15 years shall not be subject to resin boxing. The transfer of forest plantations for resin boxing without approved plans of timber extraction and resin boxing shall be prohibited.
