Resumen The present Regulation establishes the modalities of carrying out control over the contents of potentially dangerous to human health toxic substances in crop production: 1) nitrates; 2) residues of pesticides and toxic elements; 3) mycotic toxins; 4) radioactive nuclides. All crop production processed and traded by the agricultural organizations, farms and other land tenants, and destined for alimentary purposes shall be subject to control. Crop production destined for the manufacturing of infant food, and also imported and exported crop production must pass control for the purpose of exposure of all the above-mentioned toxic substances. Each lot of crop production destined for processing or trade must be accompanied by quality and safety certificate. Grain shall not be subject to nitrates’ contents control. The period of validity of quality and safety certificate for vegetables shall be of ten days.
