Order No. 178 of the Ministry of Agriculture regarding elite seed growing.

This Order establishes the rules and procedures for the certification of elite seed growing activities, the modalities of verifying compliance with relevant requirements for the purpose of issuing patents and attributing intellectual property rights for strain renovation and modification of plant varieties. Legal and natural persons applying for the attribution of elite seed growers must comply with the criteria set forth in this Order. The Ministry of Agriculture shall issue an elite seed growing farm certificate following successful verification. Elite seed growing farm certificates also provide the right to state subsidies for the number of elite seeds sold.
