The Green Book is a state register containing data on the actual state of the rarest, endangered and common natural plant species that require protection and are an important integral part of biological diversity. The Green Book contains information on each single plant community and the map of its spreading. Natural plant communities that require protection and must be recorded in the Green Book are classified in five categories. Natural plant communities recorded in the Green Book shall be subject to special protection on the national territory.
