Order No. 135 of the Ministry of Public Health validating the Regulation on sanitary and epidemiological monitoring.

This Order establishes the modalities for carrying out sanitary and epidemiological monitoring, which shall consist of observing, analyzing, assessing and forecasting the state of public health and environment, and determining causal relationships between the state of public health and environmental impact. The purposes of monitoring shall be: (a) access to reliable information on sanitary and epidemiological well being of the population, the state of environment and public health; (b) processing of information; and (c) creation of database on monitoring.
