Resumen This Norm, consisting of 13 articles and three Annexes, establishes the procedures for the export of wood products and by-products of native species from natural or planted forests. In particular, this Norm applies to the export of wood products and by-products of native origin, required to be controlled in national territory by the relevant Federal legislation, which will depend on the export authorization from Ibama. Article 4 lists the documents required to request export authorization from the IBAMA Unit, including but not limited to certificate or license for species listed in the Appendices of CITES. The export of charcoal from planted forests, including exotic species, will depend on an export authorization from Ibama. The authorization referred to will follow the model in Annex III. The shipment of wood products and by-products destined for fairs, exhibitions, tests or commercial promotion abroad is subject to authorization as provided for in this Normative Instruction.
