It shall manage and conserve natural and cultural beauty and wealth of Cayman Islands including submarine areas. In order to achieve this objective it shall have the powers to: identify and classify any place or area for purposes of protection of its natural or cultural beauty and create a Heritage register thereof; acquire, sell or lease land; engage propagation and conservation of wildlife programs; etc. There shall be established seven District Committees. The Trust may enter into agreements restricting the use of private land. The Council of the Trust may make by-laws also for the management of submarine property.
