Resumen The Regulation establishes rules for the use of vehicles, vessels and horses in the parks, as well as rules of general conduct. Among other matters, it concerns the entry into and keeping of animals, camping and residing, littering and damage, protection of animals, lighting of fires, erection of structures, protection of vegetation, commercial activities, sporting and recreational activities, caves, etc. Further provisions concern the following: terms of interim protection orders (Part 3); public health in Kosciusko National Park (Part 4); exemptions in favour of Aborigines (Part 5). Specific rules regarding the use of parks relevant to the matters listed in section 4 shall be established by the park authority by means of notices displayed in, or at the boundary of, the park or part of the park to which the notices relate. The Regulation is completed by one Schedule, containing a list of penalties to be applied in case of contravention.
