Resumen The purposes of this Law is to establish fees for the use of water by citizens, companies, and other organizations, to provide for incorporation of those fees into the State budget, and for related matters. The tax department shall register fee payers on the basis of information provided by officials granting water use permits in accordance with the Law on Water of 1995 (art. 3). Fees shall be imposed on the use of potable and household water, mineral water, and riparian zones used for cultivation, breeding, energy production, etc. (art. 4). Assessment of water resources shall be approved by the Government in accordance with article 5. Criteria for the establishment of fees are outlined in article 6, whereas article 7 indicates limits that shall be taken into account in establishing fees. Remaining provisions deal with exemptions and reduction of fees, additional obligations of fee payers, fee refunds, complaints, and penalties. (14 articles) Texto completo Inglés
