Resumen: This Ministerial Order approves the Regulation of the Technical Secretariat for Food and Nutritional Security (SETSAN). The Regulation, consisting of 5 Chapters, under the Ministry of Agriculture, regulates the above mentioned Secretariat, entitled to: produce, manage and disseminate information on food and nutritional insecurity (InSAN) and recommend actions to aimed to mitigate this insecurity; to integrate Food and Nutritional Security (SAN) and Human Rights to Adequate Food (DHAA) as a central element in public strategies, civil society and the private sector; to coordinate with the Ministry of Planning and Development and State Administration for integrating matters on SAN and DHAA in sectoral and local plans; to articulate with the Ministry of Finance the mechanism of financing to various public sectors implementing activities of SAN and DHAA; to carry out capacity development to decision makers in public institutions, civil society and professionals of social communication on matters of SAN and DHAA; to share experiences with internacional organizations in these sectors; to sign contracts and propose agreements with governments and national and international partners, in this area.
