Entry into force notes
The provisions of this Decree shall enter into force as from 27 April 2006.
Resumen

This Decree specifies maximum levels of pesticide residues that crops and foodstuffs may contain, in accordance with the provisions of Commission Directive 2005/74/EC. In particular, according to the provisions of article 1 to this Decree, the item ‘papaya’ is added to Annex I to Ministerial Decree No. 352654/95 under the category 1(vi) miscellaneous fruit between the items ‘Olives’ and ‘Passion fruit’. The item ‘Cassava’ is added to Annex I to Decree No. 352654/95 under the category 2(i) root tuber vegetables between the items ‘Carrots’ and ‘Celeriac’. Also, maximum pesticide residue levels for ethofumesate, lambda−cyhalothrin, methomyl, pymetrozine and thiabendazole, shown in article 2 of this Decree, shall replace those contained in Annex II of Decree No. 352654/95.
