Ministerial Decree No. 962 validating Regulation on navigation, economic activity, research, exploration and fisheries in territorial sea.

This Ministerial Decree shall be applicable to all vessels, irrespectively of ownership, navigating, carrying out economic activity, research or fisheries in territorial sea. Economic activity, research, exploration and fisheries of foreign vessels in territorial sea of the Republic of Kazakhstan, except for case established by the national legislation and international agreements concluded by the Republic of Kazakhstan shall be prohibited. Public and private, and also foreign vessels in the process of navigation shall follow navigation routes as provided by navigation equipment. Economic activity, research, exploration and fisheries in territorial sea shall be carried out prior notification to Frontier Service.
