Ministerial Decree No. 8 validating the Regulation on water relations for agricultural enterprises under re-organization.

This Ministerial Decree regulates water relations on the property of agricultural enterprises under re-organization, including limited water use, water supply, and the distribution and management of water resources. The Decree applies to farming enterprises and peasant (dehkan) farms, and to other natural and legal persons that abstract and discharge certain amounts of water. Water user associations shall be set up for the purpose of regulating water relations and granting access to its members to water use for irrigation. All waterworks of agricultural enterprises under re-organization shall be transferred to water users’ associations in accordance with foundation agreement.
