The Agency shall carry out the following tasks: (a) conservation and protection of natural environment, ecosystems and biological diversity, extension of protected areas; (b) enforcement of environmental legislation; (c) registration of natural components; (d) prevention of negative environmental impact; (e) support of environmental protection arrangements; and (f) access to ecological information. The Agency shall carry out the following functions: (a) validates rules and regulations for use of wild animals and plant resources, including forests; (b) functioning of protected areas; (c) monitoring; (d) forest and hunting management; (e) licensing; and (g) keeping Red Book.
