Ministerial Decree No. 550 regarding validation of the Regulation on State Forestry Committee of the Republic of Karelia.

State Forestry Committee is regional executive body carrying out the plenary powers envisaged by the Forest Code in the sphere of forest stock, state management of forestry and coordinating the activity of other officials in the aforesaid sphere. The Regulation consists of 8 Sections composed of 20 articles. Section 1 lays down the general provisions. Section 2 determines the main tasks of State Forestry Committee. Section 3 determines the functions of the Committee. Section 4 determines the rights of the Committee. Section 5 regards organization of the functioning of the Committee. Section 6 concerns the property and the budget of the Committee. Section 7 regards documentation and accountability. Section 8 regards reorganization and cessation of activity of the Committee.
