Ministerial Decree No. 504 validating the Regulation on energy inspections and testing.

This Ministerial Decree establishes the modalities for energy inspections and testing, which shall entail: (a) assessing the efficiency of the use of liquid, solid and gaseous fuel, thermal energy and electricity; and (b) testing the safety of electrical equipment. The State Inspectorate on Supervision in the Electric Energy Sector shall have the power to issue licences valid for five years, conditioned upon the applicant’s: (a) compliance with legislation in the energy sector; (b) normative and technical documentation; (c) possession of the proper technical equipment; and (d) observance of inspection methodologies. Applicants must submit: (a) an application; (b) a notarized copy of the state registration certificate; and (c) receipt for payment of the licensing fee.
