Ministerial Decree No. 502 validating Technical Regulation “On safety of bread, bakery and alimentary paste products”.

This Ministerial Decree shall be applicable for the purpose of protection of human life and health, and prevention of fraud and deceit of the consumers. It shall be applicable to processing, handling, transport, storage, internal trade and vending of bread, bakery and alimentary paste products. It shall not be applicable to infant and dietary food, and also to homemade foodstuffs. Producers must comply with the provisions of this Technical Regulation, raw materials and components must comply with food quality and food safety requirements and standards. Storage conditions must prevent deterioration and damaging of raw materials, components and produce ready for use. Use of GMO shall be prohibited. Expiry date of produce shall be established by producers. Labelling shall be written in both state and official languages. Produce shall be traceable.
