Amount of water destined for limited water uses shall be composed of transboundary water sources (Amudarya and Syrdarya rivers and inflows thereof) within the limits established by international agreements with the consideration of surface runoff, water abstraction of groundwater and re-use of return water. First limited water use shall be imposed upon all authorized water users with registered water abstraction for the amount of 100 cubic metres and over daily and later on it shall be extended to all users irrespectively of the amount of water abstraction except for municipal potable water supply systems. Amount of water uses shall be maximum limits that cannot be reduced under condition of water shortage.
