Ministerial Decree No. 269 on improving the protection and management of objects of cultural heritage.

This Ministerial Decree establishes the modalities for keeping the State register of cultural heritage, which contains information on the geographic area, legal status, and qualitative and quantitative characteristics of objects of cultural heritage. The Register shall be kept according to the principles of: (a) comprehensive inclusion of all objects of cultural heritage on national territory; (b) centralized recordkeeping; (c) reliability and continuity of recorded information; and (d) access to information. The Register shall also contain: (a) information on ownership of rights to objects of cultural heritage; and (b) maps.
