Ministerial Decree No. 159 validating the Regulation on general and basin schemes of complex water management, water conservation and water resources balance.

This Ministerial Decree establishes the modalities for the elaboration, coordination and validation of general and basin schemes of complex water management, water conservation and water resources balance. The purpose of such schemes shall be to plan the water needs of the population and the national economy, protect water resources and prevent negative impacts thereon and assess annually the availability of water resources for management by water users. Assessment of water indices data and projected water needs shall be carried out in accordance with state registration and monitoring of water bodies.
