Ministerial Decree No. 127 validating the Regulation on State Agency on Geology and Mineral Resources.

This Ministerial Decree establishes that State Agency on Geology and Mineral Resources shall be state executive body carrying out state policy in the sphere of subsoil management and development of mining industry. The scope of the Agency shall be to ensure rational subsoil management. The Agency shall carry out the following tasks: (a) complex exploration of subsoil; (b) state regulation of mining and subsoil management; (c) protection of subsoil and environment in the process of exploration and mining; (d) setting up favourable conditions for the development of mining industry; and (e) realization of common technical policy in the sphere of geodetic, topographic and cartographic activity.
