Ministerial Decree No. 1112 validating the Regulation on the Ministry on Emergency Situations.

This Ministerial Decree establishes that the Ministry on Emergency Situations shall be the authorized state institution in the sphere of prevention of natural and technological disasters and mitigation of the consequences thereof. The Ministry shall carry out the following functions: (a) elaboration and implementation of state policy in the sphere of prevention of natural and technological disasters and mitigation of the consequences thereof; (b) coordination of the operation of state bodies related to natural and technological disasters; (c) research; and (d) validation of standards in the sphere of emergency situations.
