Ministerial Decree No. 104 validating the Regulation on state registration of protected areas.

This Ministerial Decree establishes that State Register of protected areas shall be kept by the State Committee on Environmental Protection and by the Academy of Sciences. State Register is the code of unified data protected areas and is an integral part of the Unified state registration system. State registration of protected areas shall be applicable to: (a) state nature reserves, including biosphere reserves; (b) national parks and nature monuments; (c) water protection areas and recreational areas; (d) deposits of rare and precious metals; and (f) objects of cultural heritage. Only protected areas created in accordance with modalities established by the legislation shall be subject to state registration and recording in State Register.
