Resumen

The Mining Regulations of 2004, offer detailed directives and criteria for individuals or firms interested in obtaining various mining licenses in a structured and regulated manner. This document delineates the application procedures for prospecting, exploration, retention, and location licenses, outlining the required documentation and steps. It also stipulates the obligations and duties of license holders, such as maintaining accurate records, clearing vegetation from the area, and removing outdated beacons when necessary. An important aspect highlighted in these regulations is the significance of record-keeping, necessitating license holders to maintain thorough records of employees, drilling activities, mapping, production, and other pertinent information. Part XI of the text address environmental concerns by mandating applicants to submit statements detailing the environmental condition, mining and reclamation plans, underscoring the importance of responsible mining practices and environmental stewardship. The text consists of 86 Articles divided into XIII parts.
