Materia Recursos minerales Palabra clave Minerales Comercio internacional Autorización/permiso Área geográphica Africa, Africa Oriental, Naciones en desarrollo sin litoral, Países menos desarrollados Resumen These Regulations prohibit to: (a) buy, deal in, or receive by way of barter or pledge, either as principal or agent, any reserved mineral, unless a person is licensed or authorized under these regulations to trade in reserved minerals or is the operator of a registered lapidary; (b) sell, offer, display for sale, barter or pledge, either as principal or agent, any reserved mineral unless:(i) subject to the provisions of section forty of the Mines and Minerals Act, a person is the holder of a valid prospecting or exploration licence relating to that reserved mineral; (ii) the reserved mineral is won or recovered by that person from land on which he or she is lawfully mining for reserved minerals; or (iii) he or she is authorized to sell or dispose of that reserved mineral; (c) possess any reserved mineral unless: (i) a person is authorized under these Regulations to be in possession of that reserved mineral; or (ii) he or she has a permit. The Reserved Minerals Traders' Licensing Committee constituted under regulation 5, may grant, in writing, authority to trade and possess reserved minerals to any person who is not a citizen of Zambia or is not ordinarily resident in Zambia for a period of two years.
