Resumen

These Measures are formulated in accordance with the provisions of Article 17 of the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Protection of Wild Animals, aimig to protect, develop and rationally use wildlife resources, strengthen the management of the domestication and breeding of wild animals, and safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of units and individuals engaged in the domestication and breeding of wild animals. Units and individuals engaged in domestication and breeding of wild animals must obtain the License for Domestication and Breeding of Wildlife under special state protection. In these Measures, the wildlife referred to means terrestrial wildlife under special state protection; Domestication and breeding refers to the domestication and breeding of wild animals for protection, research, scientific experiments, exhibitions and other economic purposes under human control.
