Resumen

In implementation of Directive 92/32/EEC, the present Legislative Decree makes provision applicable to the substances or preparations defined under article 2 with respect to: (a) notification; (b) assessment of potential risk to human beings and the environment of notified substances; (c) classification, packaging and labelling of dangerous substances for human beings and the environment. The Legislative Decree does not apply to the substances and preparations specified by article 1, paragraph 2, such as foodstuffs and feedingstuffs. Article 36 lays down penalties to be applied in case of infringement.
