The Legislative Decree came into force on 20 March 2016.

Resumen

These provisions lay down some amendments to Legislative Decree No. 188 of 2008 concerning the marketing of batteries and accumulators containing hazardous substances, as well as the treatment, recycling and disposal of waste batteries. The amendments regard the placing on the market of portable batteries and accumulators containing cadmium intended for use in cordless power tools, and of button cells with low mercury content.
