Otherwise, the Act expires on December 31, 2025. Resumen This Law concerns the modification of procedures as foreseen in environment protection-related legislation listed in article 1 of the Act. This modification is necessary to answer to restrictions on movement of persons and other restrictions caused by the COVID-19 emergency. Procedures concern, among other things, matters covered by Directive 2011/92/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council on the assessment of the effects of certain public and private projects on the environment Text with EEA relevance. The list of laws of article 1 includes, among other things, the Nature Protection Law, the Water Resources Management Law, the Genetic Engineering Law, the Town and Country Planning Law, the Environment Impact Assessment Law, and various pollution control laws.
