The Law provides that the local government shall provide assistance and support to families in which there are children, guaranteeing shelter, warmth and clothing, and nutrition appropriate to his or her age and state of health, for each child residing in the local government territory. The Law further provides that the State, in accordance with the Environmental Protection Law, shall ensure supervision of the prevention of such harmful factors and causes of diseases as may negatively affect the health of the child. The State has a duty to provide relevant information regarding the factual conditions of the environment in both the entire State and in specific territories thereof.
