Resumen This law provides for implementation of the International Health Regulations 2005 (IHR) on arrival and departure of the persons, baggage, cargo, goods or conveyance and containers by considering the means of transport being sea-going ship, aircraft, roads and rail at border crossing point and inland waterways vessels. The Law provides for segregation of sick or infected persons or affected baggage from the others in a manner that prevent the spread of infections. The law nominates competent authorities for conduct of medical administration requirements and provides for notification procedure for responsible pilots in cases of illness or indications on board of a significant risk to public health. The Law further provides for declaration of maritime health, inspection of ship hygiene and regulation on fines and criminal provisions. The Law consists of 22 Articles and 4 Sections and 2 Annexes. The Sections refer to General Rules (1); Air Traffic 82); Sea and Inland Waterways Transport (3) and Final Provision (4).
