Resumen

The present Law establishes legal, economic and organizational basis of plant protection and plant quarantine, regulates relations between state institutions and natural and legal persons in the sphere of plant protection and plant quarantine. The document consists of X Secs. that contain 28 Arts. Section I (arts. 1-5) lays down general provisions. Section II (Arts. 6-9) regards plant protection. Section III (Arts. 6-14) regards plant quarantine. Section IV (Arts. 15-17) regards quarantine survey. Section V (Arts. 18-20) regards phyto-sanitary survey over export and import operations. Section VI (art. 21) regards expropriation and annihilation of plants, planting materials and other objects regulated by the present Law. Section VII (Arts.22-23) regards cooperation between plant protection and plant quarantine services and other bodies, services of the Republic of Armenia and international organizations. Section VIII (Art. 24 regards financing of plant protection and plant quarantine services. Section IX (Arts. 25-26) establishes rights and duties of legal and natural persons in the sphere of plant protection and plant quarantine. Section X (Art. 27) establishes liability for the infringement of the present Law. Section XI (Art. 28) lays down final provisions.
