The objectives of this Law are to ensure insurance compensation, recovery of health and capacity for work and integration into society of the insured person if the person has suffered harm from an accident at work or contracted an occupational disease; to guarantee material support to the successor of the right to compensation; and to ensure the implementation of preventive measures in order to improve the working environment, educate employers and employees, prevent accidents at work and the contracting of occupational diseases.
