Resumen The scope of this Law shall be to regulate geodetic and cartographic activities. Geodesy shall be intended measurement of the position, height, and gravity acceleration of stars, sun and application of satellite mapping tools to determine the world's shape, size and surface movement, and also Earth’s surface mapping and processing of complex mathematical operations. Cadastral map shall be intended other maps designed to create a consolidated database of geodesy and cartographic information by mapping information on land and other immovable property and subsoil use. Geodetic and cartographic activities shall include mapping of the territory by processing data obtained from outer spaces and from land surface observation and measurements. Geodetic and cartographic activities shall be subject to mandatory licensing. State unified database of geodetic and cartographic information shall consist of geodetic network, topographic maps, air area, satellite image, geographical indications, cadastre and other relevant data. State unified database of geodetic and cartographic information shall be state property. This Law consists of III Chapters divided into 15 Articles. Chapter I lays down general provisions. Chapter II regards performance of geodetic and cartographic activities, establishes powers and functions of geodetic and cartographic organizations. Chapter III contains miscellaneous provisions.
