This Law enters into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
Resumen

This Law consisting of 32 articles divided in 3 Chapters aims at establishing the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) with the following main competences (i) prepare proposals regarding the amendment of anti-corruption legislation; (ii) review and evaluate the anti-corruption reports issued by local, regional, and international organizations, examine the status of the Libyan government therein, and propose the appropriate procedures in their regard; (iii) receive, examine, and keep financial disclosures, and request any data or clarification related thereto; (iv) contribute to adding names to the receivership lists; (v) coordinate with the Central Bank of Libya and the relevant entities to reclaim the funds resulting from corruption inside and outside the country; (vi) represent Libya before international and regional anti-corruption organizations and conferences; (vii) investigate and detect crimes of corruption, in particular crimes concerning money laundering, crimes against public funds and public trust, economic crimes, crimes of misuse of position or occupation, mediation, and favoritism, illicit gains, and any other activities set forth by the United Nations Convention against Corruption.
