Resumen This Law regulates the procedure for the formation and activities, guarantees of independence, functions and powers of the Commission for the prevention of corruption, the requirements for its members, as well as relations regarding analysis of declarations and the conduct of proceedings thereon. The Commission, within the limits of its powers, may, on behalf of the Republic of Armenia, acquire and exercise property and personal material and non-material rights, bear obligations, act in court as a plaintiff or the defendant, as well as to dispose and use the property in accordance with the goals of its activities and the purpose of the assigned property. The Commission shall publish on its official website the decisions and opinions, as well as proposals submitted by it and information on the consideration of their results. The Commission, in the exercise of its powers, shall cooperate with state bodies and local self-government bodies, international and other organizations, as well as representatives of civil society. The functions of the Commission shall be as follows: (a) monitoring of compliance with requirements for incompatibility and other restrictions for high-ranking officials, as well as compliance with regulation of ethics rules, conflict of situational interests high-ranking officials, with the exception of deputies, judges and prosecutors; (b) regulation of the declaration process, verification and analysis of declarations; (c) ensuring the uniformity of application of the requirements established by law for incompatibilities and other restrictions; and (d) participation in the development of policies related to the fight against corruption. The Commission shall perform: (a) verification of compliance with the requirements for filling and submission of declarations; (b) verification of the accuracy and completeness of the declared data; (c) mathematical analysis of the declared data; and (d) analysis of declarations based on risk indicators.
