Law No. 8171 creating the State Policy to Encourage Entrepreneurship, Industrial Development and New Technologies.

This Law establishes the State Policy to Encourage Entrepreneurship, Industrial Development and New Technologies. The objectives of the policy are: to encourage the creation and installation of new industries in the State; promote industrial and technological development in the State; stimulate public and private investments for the sustainable development of the activities covered by this Law; generate employment opportunities and increase income in the sectors covered by the policy; grant benefits and generate revenue for the State; qualify and train young people for entrepreneurship and the development of new technologies; create regionalized industrial hubs.
