Entry into force notes

This Law enters into force on the day of its publication.

Resumen

This Law, consisting of 4 Chapters and 1 Annex, regulates the activities to be performed in the Ecologic and Economic Zoning of East and Calha Norte areas within the State of Pará (EEZ). This Law aims at: implementing development activities within the State; incorporating the socio-economic development in the sustainable land settlement; promoting the effective integration of the territorial dimension in development policies and strategic plans; leading the sustainable exploitation of natural resources and environment; incentivizing priority development programmes and projects for the State; promoting the obligation of environmental authorization, granting subsidies to the improvement of local infrastructures, logistic and public services, etc. Annex lists in the legenda the types of authorized activities in the above mentioned EEZ.
