Law No. 6.767 establishing guidelines to encourage female entrepreneurship.

This Law establishes the guidelines to encourage female entrepreneurship. These principles aim at: stimulating the training of women in order to make them entrepreneurs; promote cooperation and interaction between public entities and the business sector, establishing initiatives for female entrepreneurship also in the interior of the State; facilitate access for women entrepreneurs to adequate lines of credit for creation and expansion of enterprises; encourage micro and small female entrepreneurship; inform about risks and administrative obligations that entail the opening of micro and small companies, promoting female leadership training; respect regional and local diversities; encourage women and their families to structure a governance strategy for family succession; encourage female entrepreneurship as a strategy to promote work and income for women in situations of social vulnerability; cross-cutting with other technical assistance policies.
