Resumen The aim of this Law is to regulate the trade, registration, control and inspection of pesticides as well as to prevent their danger, hazards, poisonous and toxic effects to the public health, animals and environment. This Law is composed of 7 Chapters divided into 36 articles. Terms and definitions are given in Chapter I. General objectives are contained in Chapter II. Registration of pesticides is dealt with in Chapter III in particular: registration conditions and requirements; and revocation of the registration. Chapter IV provides for the trade and circulation of pesticides. Chapter V refers to the control and inspection of pesticides. Penalties and offences are contained in Chapter VI. General and concluding provisions are provided for in Chapter VII.
