Resumen This Law, consisting of 14 articles, establishes the State Policy to Encourage the Generation and Use of Solar, Wind and Biomass Energy. The objectives of the State Policy are: stimulate, as a way of reducing the consumption of the different energy sources, the investments and the implantation of solar energy systems, encompassing the development technology and the production of photo-voltaic, photo-thermal, wind and biomass solar energy for self consumption in private and public, residential, community, commercial and industrial projects; and create alternative employment and income. It is incumbent upon the State, through the competent bodies: to support the implementation and development of projects that contemplate as a source of energy the use of solar, wind and biomass energy equipment; support the implementation of photo-voltaic, photo-thermal, wind and biomass solar energy production systems for consumption; stimulate agricultural activities that use alternative energy sources, contributing to the preservation of the environment; stimulate partnerships between municipal, state and federal public agencies with the objective of technologically endowing the enterprises benefited by the policy dealt with in this law, increasing economics, productivity and technological efficiency; create mechanisms to facilitate the promotion of the manufacture, use and marketing of products inherent to the solar, wind and biomass energy system.
