Resumen

The Ministries of Defense and Aquatic resources shall cooperate in producing legal documentation and managing Coast Guard and other Forces in regard to all activities dealing with aquatic resources exploitation and protection, prevention and control of marine pollution, education and diffusion of the Vietnamese legislation on aquatic resources. The Ministries shall be responsible for issuing fishing licenses and permits, registration certificates for fishing activities and permits for aquatic resources exploitation, fishing ship and crew registration certificates, Quarantine certification for aquatic animals and plants for breeding , quality certificates for breeds, feeds, drugs and chemical agents used in aquaculture facilities and for fishing gear and nets. The Coast Guard and other appointed forces shall patrol the sea areas and continental shelf to monitor fishing activities, inspect fishing vessels, prevent violations.
