Resumen

This Instruction provides that brown bears may only be hunted by licensed organizations on allocated hunting grounds, and may be hunted in protected areas and natural parks exclusively for population control and to protect personnel. Hunting licences for brown bears shall be issued for the following purposes: (a) delivering meat to public catering organizations; (b) sport hunting; (c) personal consumption by sparsely distributed indigenous populations and ethnic communities in the North (free of charge); and (d) controlling the number of brown bears. Hunting or capturing yearling bear cubs for captive breeding shall be prohibited. Injured brown bears shall be shot and killed.
