In particular, section 2 establishes that for the purpose of clause 50(lf) of the Act, an individual may import wine into the Province from another province for his or her personal consumption and not for resale or other commercial use only if all of the following conditions are met: a) the winery that produced the wine is duly licensed or otherwise legally permitted under the laws of the other province to produce and sell the wine; b) at least 85% of the wine content in the bottle is derived from fruits or other agricultural products grown in the province in which the winery that produced the wine is located and the remaining content in the bottle is derived from fruits or other agricultural products grown within Canada; c) the individual buys the wine from the winery that produced it.
