The Law enters into force from the date of its official publication.
Resumen

Housing legislation consists of the present Code and other legislative acts. Land legislation and legislation on architecture and urban construction shall be applicable in the field of housing relations if the aforesaid are not regulated by housing legislation. Relations regarding engineering infrastructure and communal services shall be regulated by the present Code and other legislative acts. Local self-government is entitled with the task of allotment of the plots of land for housing (art. 5). In case of expropriation for state or public need of the plots of land with the housing facilities situated thereon owned by natural persons they shall be allotted the plots of land within size limits established by law (art. 28). In case of expropriation for state or public needs of a plot of land with housing facilities, constructions, forestation situated thereon owned by a legal person he shall be granted property of equal worth or shall be compensated to the full extent for the damages caused by expropriation of the plot of land for state or public needs (art. 29). The Law consists of 11 Sections that contain 141 articles. Section 1 (arts. 1-21) lays down general provisions. Section 2 (arts. 22-34) regards private housing. Section 3 (arts. 35-74) regards state housing. Section 4 (arts. 75-85) regards concession in use of official and specialized housing facilities. Section 5 (arts. 86-95) regards rent of housing facilities. Section 6 (arts. 96-104) regards housing facilities in condominiums. Section 7 (arts. 105-123) regards the right of use of housing facilities. Section 8 (arts. 124-128) regards common property of the condominiums. Section 9 (arts. 129-136) regards exploitation, maintenance, repairs and communal services charges. Section 10 (arts. 137-139) regards management of housing fund, its maintenance and repairs. Section 11 (arts. 140-141) lays down final provisions.
